Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician
Accentuate staffing is assisting a leading commercial property management company who is hiring a Lead Facilities Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity offering excellent benefits working 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Facilities Maintenance Technician will conduct routine maintenance tasks such as electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and general building repairs.
- Technician will perform general repairs and installations such as changing light bulbs, light switches, receptacles, door locks.
- Technician will repair and install alarm and fire protection systems, piping, tubing, plumbing fixtures.
- Technician will perform general carpentry, floor repairs, etc.
- Technician will keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Technician will perform installation and repairs of ceiling tiles, wall coverings, window blinds, signage.
- Technician will monitor water chemical treatment programs for cooling towers and fountains.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have proven experience in commercial facilities maintenance
- Candidates must have a strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems.
- Candidates must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently.
- Candidates must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Candidates must have the ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and vendors.
- Candidates must have a valid NC driver’s license.
- Candidates with a 2 year technical degree preferred.
- Candidates with a Refrigerant Transition and Recovery certification a plus.
