Position Summary

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Specialist to join their client's growing team in Durham, NC. This individual will be responsible for generating and closing residential and commercial fencing sales through in-person consultations, customer referrals, lead follow-up, and relationship building.

The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-driven sales professional with a proven track record in fence sales, construction sales, or home improvement sales. This position offers significant earning potential for candidates who excel at building trust, providing solutions, and closing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with prospective residential and commercial customers to assess project needs.
• Prepare and present fencing and outdoor structure proposals.
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
• Follow up on company-provided leads in a timely manner.
• Educate customers on product options, materials, design features, and project timelines.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurately track opportunities.
• Collaborate with project management and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Develop lasting relationships with customers to generate repeat and referral business.
• Consistently achieve or exceed sales goals and performance expectations.

Qualifications

Required

• 3-5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in fencing, construction, outdoor structures, or home improvement industries.
• Proven ability to close sales and manage a territory successfully.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• No significant criminal convictions.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Experience using CRM and estimating software.
• Knowledge of residential and commercial fencing products and installation processes.

Compensation & Benefits

Training Period (First 90 Days)

• Guaranteed draw of $1,200 per week
• If earned commissions exceed the draw, additional commissions will be paid

After Training

• Commission-only compensation structure
• Quarterly commission payouts
• Continued access to draw opportunities
• Average annual earnings between $80,000 and $110,000+
