BridgeTower Media is seeking an Editor/Reporter to work with our editorial team and assist with projects and news coverage. This is a remote role but must be based in the State of North Carolina.

Duties + Responsibilities:
· Work with editorial team members, freelance contributors and production team on producing insightful news coverage for our audiences
· Participate in a multimedia newsroom providing essential niche content across platforms, including the website, email newsletters, social media and print
· Edit, write and post stories to ensure essential digital content daily
· Oversee production of print publication and assist in production of daily news website
· Assist with social media and newsletters
· Write for and edit print publication
· Generate story ideas for daily news, enterprise stories and print stories

Skills + Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or relevant work experience; law degree desired but not required
· 4+ years of experience in the news industry with editing, writing and reporting experience
· Knowledge of legal news coverage and local legal community
· AP Stylebook knowledge
· Strong computer skills and digital news management- including but not limited to: Word, Microsoft Excel, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Reader and Acrobat, and internet research skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Reliable home internet connection with minimum 50mbps up/10mbps down
