Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Rocky Mount, NC, requiring at least 1 year of RN experience and active NC or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
• PM shift, 12-hour shifts
• COVID-positive patients are included in the patient population
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 17-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license in NC or a compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Graduate of an approved nursing program
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with prescribed medical regimens and hospital policies
• Practice is accountable to the North Carolina Board of Nursing under the NC Nursing Practice Act
• Candidates must reside 50 or more miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
