Acara Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Specialist to join our client's team in Cary, NC. In this role, you will support customer order processing and sales operations by ensuring accuracy, resolving issues, and partnering with internal stakeholders to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

About the Opportunity

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the sales process from order entry through execution. You will work closely with customers, vendors, product teams, and internal departments to ensure seamless order management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, process, and manage customer orders and revisions
• Verify order accuracy, completeness, and customer requirements
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve order-related issues
• Create and initiate sales orders and purchase orders as needed
• Partner with factory, product, and marketing teams to resolve configurations and technical updates
• Support pricing activities and assist with discount applications when appropriate
• Investigate and resolve transaction quality concerns
• Coordinate customer-facing initiatives, including product demonstrations, presentations, training sessions, and factory tours
• Support trade shows and field sales initiatives
• Contribute to process improvements and support project deliverables independently

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in sales support, customer operations, business support, or related fields
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and customers
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

Additional Details

• 12-month temporary assignment with potential for extension
• No travel required
• System and computer access provided
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week
