Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• No call required for travelers
• Holiday expectations: 75% of holidays scheduled
• Scheduling requests subject to team approval

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months recent PCU RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
• Strong PCU competencies—stroke management, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, IV and PIV skills, chest tube and drain management, and critical care drip administration
• Comfortable with floating throughout the region as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to patients with complex conditions, including neuro, cardiac, respiratory, and GI disorders
• Utilize your proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors
• Collaborate effectively with CNAs, hospitalists, intensivists (including virtual afterhours), and other support staff
• Respond and adapt to rapidly changing situations, including floating mid-shift to different facilities as required
