PRTF Therapist
As a Mental Health Technician in ABS Valley of Hope Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care and support to our clients. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating and monitoring various direct care activities for clients in the PRTF settings and appropriate therapeutic activities, clinical interventions, staffing, and treatment planning. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and ensuring the residential facilities are well-maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide appropriate intervention services to clients in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family conferences to address the unique needs of our clients.
- Ensure the residential facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained to support the comfort and recovery of clients.
- Complete all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, submitting it error-free by the end of each shift.
- Participate in all mandated training, ensuring 100% completion within the specified time frame.
- Deliver high-quality services in accordance with the agency policies.
- Maintain a neat work area, ensuring classroom and cottage inspections are performed.
- Attend all clinical staffing to actively contribute to the clients' treatment and progress.
- Adhere to Handle with Care protocols for restrictive interventions
- Exhibit reliable attendance, with minimal occurrences of unscheduled absences or lateness.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma is required. B.A./B.S. in a related human service field is preferred
- Four years of experience in Mental Health is preferred.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
