Staff Accountant

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join their team in North Carolina. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to further develop their accounting skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP).
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Ensure that outdated checks are voided and appropriate accounting entries are made.
• Post journal entries accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and record/update all prepaid accounts on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

• Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Benefits:

The position offers a competitive pay range with a minimum pay of $25.00 and a maximum pay of $28.00 per hour. Additional benefits and details will be discussed with qualified candidates.

Additional Details:

This role requires around 0% travel time, allowing the Staff Accountant to focus on in-office tasks and responsibilities.
