Corporate Contracts & Compliance Manager

The Corporate Contracts & Compliance Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s legal and regulatory standing, supporting business growth, and enabling teams to operate efficiently across multiple states and business entities. Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of contract administration, including receipt, routing, approval, execution, and secure storage of contracts.
- Maintain and improve the company’s contract management system, ensuring accurate tracking of key dates, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Manage contractor licensing and corporate compliance across multiple states and legal entities, including new applications, renewals, amendments, and monitoring regulatory changes.
- Coordinate and maintain Secretary of State registrations, annual reports, and business registrations for new jurisdictions.
- Administer insurance and risk documentation, including Certificates of Insurance, surety bonds, and coordination with brokers and project teams.
- Support vendor and client compliance by maintaining prequalification platforms (e.g., ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, Highwire) and coordinating documentation for onboarding and qualification requests.
- Develop and maintain compliance calendars, standardized procedures, and reporting dashboards for executive leadership.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows through technology and automation.
- Collaborate closely with Legal, Risk Management, Accounting, Operations, Business Development, and Human Resources to support compliance and business expansion initiatives.
- Assist with special projects related to corporate compliance and governance as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in contracts, compliance, licensing, legal administration, corporate governance, or related fields.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and SharePoint.
- Experience managing multi-state contractor licensing (preferred).
- Background in construction, industrial services, engineering, or environmental industries (preferred).
- Familiarity with contract management software (preferred).
- Experience with entity management, Secretary of State filings, insurance certificates, and surety bonds (preferred).
- Experience with compliance management software such as Harbor Compliance, CSC, or similar platforms (preferred).
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and the ability to communicate effectively with executives, attorneys, regulators, and operations personnel.
