JOB PURPOSE
As a Trades & Light Industrial Recruiter, you keep client jobsites and production floors fully staffed by sourcing, screening, and placing skilled tradespeople and light industrial workers quickly and reliably. You reduce turnover, protect client productivity, and build a dependable talent pipeline so Rely can respond to same-day and next-day staffing needs. True to Placing People First, you make sure every candidate feels heard and respected from application through placement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Recruiting: Create, submit, and update job posts to approved job boards and social media for skilled trades and light industrial roles such as carpenters, electricians, welders, pipefitters, HVAC and sheet metal mechanics, machine operators, general laborers, and warehouse and assembly associates. Adhere to the 4 Touch Recruiting Process, prescreen candidates for trade skills and certifications, build and maintain a talent pipeline, and administer background checks and drug screens when required.
• Order fulfillment: Place qualified skilled and unskilled candidates across multiple verticals, matching trade experience, certifications, and availability to client orders. Move quickly to fill same-day and next-day requests without sacrificing fit.
• Credential and compliance verification: Confirm trade licenses, OSHA 10 and OSHA 30, and other required certifications, and complete I-9, E-Verify, and client-specific compliance steps before a worker reports to a jobsite.
• Communication: Answer incoming calls and make outbound recruiting calls to current and new candidates. Provide proactive, regular updates on order status to peers, leadership, and customers.
• Activity: Meet or exceed KPIs daily using the smart goal approach.
• Jobsite and safety readiness: Confirm placed workers are field-ready and understand the scope, location, shift, and reporting details, and that they meet jobsite safety expectations before day one.
• Community engagement: Participate in community engagement initiatives, trade schools, and recruiting events to grow the skilled labor pipeline.
• Data analytics: Track open orders, associate placements, fill rates, and turnover. Monitor order fulfillment and communicate trends and results to the team and leadership.
• Customer support: Serve as a point of contact for assigned customers, participate in prospect and current customer meetings, and support the onboarding of new accounts.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by your Supervisor or Manager.
