Responsibilities

· Manage kitchen staff and help coordinate food orders

· Supervise food prep and cooking

· Maintain quality control standards

· Ensure team adheres to correct portion sizes

· Train kitchen staff on prep work, cooking, and serving

· Store and serve hot and cold food products in compliance with safety practices.

· Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area in accordance with local and state regulations

 

· Qualifications

· Proven work experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef

· Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations

· ServeSafe certified

· Excellent organizational skills

· Conflict management abilities

· Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment

· Flexibility to work during evenings and weekends

· Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus
