Lab Administrative Office Support
: Job Summary: Performs general administrative office support to the laboratory leadership team and assists with billing and registration duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scheduling meetings, transcribing meeting minutes, ordering office and general laboratory supplies, preparing operational and financial reports as requested. Assists department with onboarding of new employees and provides general departmental orientation. Prepares new employee files. Assists the department director with, maintaining employee department files, ordering supplies and capital equipment purchase requests as needed. Prepares check requests. Reserves conference rooms. Distributes interoffice mail. Provides oversight and management of departmental payroll and edits. Other administrative duties as required, which include but are not limited to; Review and follow up worklists to ensure accuracy of patient registration information required for billing (includes but is not limited to obtaining dx codes, following up on ABN issues, missing providers, etc). Performs additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma required. Two years' experience in an office setting is required. Proficient at Word, Excel and Outlook preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication along with excellent customer service skills are preferred. Location: FirstHealth of the Carolinas · Laboratory - Clinical MRH Schedule: Full Time - 40 Hours per Week, Day Shift, M -F 8:30am - 5pm
