Location Services Specialist

Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Location Services Specialist to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will oversee daily operations and ensure the location runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys collaborating with vendors, building management, and internal teams to maintain high standards of service. Responsibilities: - Coordinate and execute various location services projects, including office moves, repairs, cleaning, and event preparation. - Conduct regular walkthroughs of the facility to identify maintenance needs and follow up on issues with vendors or building management. - Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely reordering and proper stock levels. - Develop and maintain vendor relationships, process payments, and monitor expenses to align with the budget. - Collaborate with supervisors to identify cost-effective upgrades or replacements for failing systems and recommend improvements. - Oversee mail services, including distribution, shipping, and receiving, to ensure smooth operations. - Assist in conference room setup and pantry stocking to support internal and client-facing activities. - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in ordering, inventory management, and facility operations. - Monitor safety and compliance standards, escalating concerns to the Location Services Manager or Supervisor when necessary. - Provide administrative support, including scanning, proofreading, and document management as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in customer service and office operations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. - Ability to manage vendor relationships and process payments accurately. - Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting processes. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions. - Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. - Knowledge of facility operations and maintenance practices, including safety standards.
