What is my purpose at Chick-fil-A Roanoke Rapids? To execute facilities and equipment maintenance tasks with excellence, in a timely manner, so that we can Win Hearts Every Day in the restaurant.

Who do I report to? FOH Director 

What am I responsible for?

• Restaurant Maintenance: Completing all recurring and stand-alone maintenance tasks as assigned, according to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Communication: Communicating effectively with the team. Using Basecamp to stay up-to-date on maintenance needs and 
• Accountability: Holding myself accountable to policies, procedures, and results. Reporting any issues to leadership when needed.

What does my day look like?

• 100% facilities and equipment maintenance
• Work evenings (Monday-Friday) and Sundays

• Maintenance Knowledge: The capacity to serve as a facilities and equipment maintenance expert in the restaurant.
• Accuracy: The capacity to perform maintenance tasks without error.

• $30 per hour wage at 8 hours per week max (more hours are available if approved by Director)

• Maintenance Leadership: Lead myself to execute facilities and equipment maintenance tasks with excellence, in a timely manner, as assigned.
• Set the Tone: Model our restaurant culture (a safe, fun, positive work environment centered around excellence with endless potential for growth) and hold myself accountable to it.

• Complete all maintenance training, as assigned.
• Check messages in Basecamp for updates and assigned tasks.
• Follow all restaurant policies and procedures.
• Team Work: Support restaurant staff by completing assigned maintenance tasks. 
• Customer Experience/Sales & Brand Growth: 
• Winning Hearts Every Day: Execute maintenance tasks with excellence, in a timely manner, so we can Win Hearts Every Day and retain guests. 
• Communication: Communicate with restaurant leaders to solve maintenance problems that affect guest experience.

• Communicate personal availability, schedule, etc. 
• Reliably be on time for maintenance work and ready to serve.
• Be a Good Steward of Equipment and Facilities: Help us take good care of the facilities and equipment we use by completing recurring and one-time maintenance tasks.
• Recurring Maintenance Tasks: 
• Weekly window cleaning 
• Monthly playland deep cleaning 
• Monthly boil outs on Hennys
• Ceiling vents cleaned monthly 
• Icedream machine filter and side panels cleaned monthly 
• Awnings cleaned monthly 
• Monthly drain maintenance
