Lead Maintenance Supervisor
Apartment Maintenance Supervisor – Charlotte, NC 28210
$23/hr | M–F 8:30am–5pm | Contract‑to‑Hire | Must have own vehicle

Job Summary
You will lead daily maintenance operations for a multifamily community, ensuring safety, unit readiness, and exceptional service. This role includes hands‑on repairs, supervising vendors, maintaining documentation, and supporting resident satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily maintenance operations to uphold property safety and integrity
- Complete and document resident work orders in property management software
- Manage make‑ready schedules to ensure timely and high‑quality unit turns
- Perform general maintenance: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry
- Conduct inspections and implement preventive maintenance programs
Requirements:
- Strong apartment maintenance experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry)
- EPA Type II or Universal
- Ability to use property management software
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, use ladders, tools, and work indoors/outdoors
- Own vehicle for onsite travel
- Own tools
- Professional communication and ability to work independently
- Previous supervisory or lead maintenance experience
- Vendor coordination experience
