Material Handler

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in our fast-paced production environment. Initially, the schedule involves working from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday through Thursday for the first two weeks. In the third week, the shift changes to 7 pm to 7 am on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. During the fourth week, the schedule starts at 11 pm on Sunday and continues from 7 pm to 7 am on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This position involves stacking wooden boards coming off the production line and creating sub-bundles of 5-8 pieces, each weighing at least 50 lbs. The bundles are wrapped in plastic, carried down the line, strapped, and wrapped again in plastic before being moved to staging.

• Stack wooden boards and create sub-bundles of 5-8 pieces.
• Wrap bundles in plastic and carry them down the line.
• Ensure bundles are strapped and wrapped securely.
• Move completed bundles to staging area.

The role is based in a warehouse setting. The job is physically demanding, but offers two 15-minute paid breaks and a 30-minute meal break on-site. Safety is a priority, and appropriate personal protective equipment is provided and required.

This is a Contract position based out of Moncure, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.60 - $20.60/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Moncure,NC.
