Shift Leader – The Salty Donut

The Salty Donut is a chef‑driven, craft donut and coffee shop known for small‑batch creativity, exceptional quality, and warm, memorable hospitality. We make everything in‑house with the highest‑quality ingredients and create an environment where guests feel genuinely cared for. As a Shift Leader/Key Holder, you help bring that experience to life every day.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily operations and support the management team.
• Deliver friendly, consistent guest service and build relationships with regulars.
• Maintain product quality through tasting, training, and attention to detail.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and daily checklists.
• Support training and coaching of new team members.
• Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and maintenance standards.
• Communicate effectively with FOH, BOH, and leadership through Slack, Zenput, and Google Drive.
• Assist with catering orders, pre‑orders, and quantity adjustments.

What You Bring:

• Previous supervisory or shift‑lead experience.
• Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, team‑first attitude.
• Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Clear communication skills and fluency in English.
