We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead one of the most high-profile commercial construction projects in the Raleigh market — an iconic $50M ground-up development that will become a landmark project in the region.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a signature build with a well-established mechanical contractor known for delivering complex, large-scale projects across the Southeast.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead all phases of mechanical construction operations from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, procurement, and client relationships
- Oversee HVAC, piping, plumbing, and mechanical systems installation
- Coordinate with ownership, general contractors, field leadership, and design teams
- Drive project profitability while maintaining quality and safety standards
- Mentor and support Project Engineers and junior operations staff
- Handle RFIs, submittals, change orders, forecasting, and project reporting
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of Mechanical Project Management experience
- Experience managing large commercial or industrial mechanical projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems
- Proven ability to manage complex schedules and budgets
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment
