Full-Time Nanny in Myers Park for a 3 Month Old Girl

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their infant daughter. The nanny would typically be needed Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The best nanny for this family would be responsible, trustworthy, caring, and possess a genuine interest in caring for infants and toddlers. Their daughter is currently 5 weeks old, and will be around 3 months old when the nanny starts. The family is seeking a nanny to help assist in keeping her on her continually evolving daily schedule as she grows. Key responsibilities will involve maintaining her daily schedule and providing an enriching environment during her awake windows.

Each day, the nanny should foster an educational environment and be familiar with Early Childhood Education (ECE) principles and childhood milestones. The nanny should engage the child in activities inside, such as reading books to the child, playing with toys, singing songs, working on developmental skills, and engaging in other fun indoor activities that will encourage her overall development. When the weather permits, the nanny should take the child outside on strolls, to play in the yard, visit playgrounds and parks, and explore child-friendly activities in the community. It is important that the nanny is engaging and comes up with new ideas for activities as she grows older to encourage her to meet her developmental and educational milestones.

The parents are looking for a long-term nanny who will grow with their family over time and become like a second family member. Ideally, the nanny that they hire will be with their family for years to come.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

• Providing a nurturing environment

  Household Duties Include (The child is priority):
  

• Child’s laundry and washing/changing the child’s linens weekly

• Children’s bottle, meal prep, and cleaning up after meals.

• Unloading/loading dishwasher and sanitizing bottles and other baby-related items.

• Light Vacuuming in the baby’s areas.

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Emptying diaper trash

  Pets:

  The family has two very friendly golden retrievers who love the baby. The nanny should always be vigilant when the dogs are around the baby, and never leave them alone with the baby. A dog walker will come by each day to take them for a walk.
  

  Qualifications:
  

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations (especially the MMR vaccine), the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP prior to starting the position.

• Legal pay is offered at $28 an hour, and is negotiable depending on experience and expertise
