The Assistant Manager for Women's Boutique plays a key role in supporting daily store operations, overseeing a small team of 1-5 employees to ensure excellent customer service and smooth sales processes. This position involves staff supervision, inventory control, and occasional management of seasonal sales and promotional events, with limited involvement in visual merchandising decisions. Proficiency with common retail software like Shopify and Vend is essential for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support boutique staff to maintain high performance
- Manage inventory levels and stock replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service and handle sales support
- Assist with limited visual merchandising tasks
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Conduct training and development for team members
- Create and manage staff schedules
- Coordinate occasional seasonal sales and promotional events
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in retail management
- Associate's degree in Business or related field
- Knowledge of retail management, customer service, and inventory control
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems (e.g., Shopify, Vend)
- Skills in visual merchandising and staff training
- Strong communication, problem solving, and time management abilities
