PeopleReady Skilled Trades is now hiring for experienced Crew Leads and Lead Commercial Electricians for multiple projects throughout the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill, NC areas. Commercial Electricians will install electrical panels, transformers, disconnects, switch boards, etc. Jobs will include pulling wire, bending conduit, cutting and threading and terminations. Also troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and installing fixtures including 3 and 4 way switches: Including performing tests and using the results to diagnose problems ? for example, when an outlet is not working, using a multimeter to check the voltage, amperage, or resistance to resolve and take the appropriate course of action. Electricians will often be working from ladders and lifts and in varying weather conditions.

Note: The hourly rate for this position is $30 - $35 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

• Must posses and encourage positive attitudes and strong work ethics
• Experience leading a crew of Electricians and Helpers
• Understanding electrical codes
• Ability to bend all angles including presentable four point saddles
• Understanding bend radius and raceways
• Keeping helpers busy throughout the shift

Qualifications:

• Minimum four years of experience on commercial construction sites and/or industrial sites
• One year plus in a Lead Electrician role
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and instructions
• Must have knowledge of NEC and common trade procedures and standards
• Basic math skills; addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
• In-depth knowledge of building codes and laws in your area
• Have all of the tools of your trade on hand and be able to bring them to your jobsite
• References that will verify your professional skills and experience
• Reliable transportation to and from job site
• Must have steel toed work boots and all PPE's
• OSHA-10 Construction Certification
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
