Position Summary : To develop and maintain training materials, ITPs and qualifications for assigned area trainees. Assist site coordinator as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the site coordinator to develop and maintain documented programs.
- Maintain operator qualification (ITPs) and associated training documents
- Communicate weekly with crew lead or supervisor and assigned trainers on trainee’s progression
- Discuss trainee’s progression weekly with crew lead or assigned trainer about trainee’s progression and work with site coordinator and develop action plan as needed for additional training
- Schedule and facilitate operator gap assessments, qualification tests and re-qualifications as required
- Provide additional methods to support trainees
- Assist area leads and supervisors with 30/60/90 reviews
- Track KPIs in assigned area and report to site training coordinator
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in process manufacturing (Chemical industry preferred)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Ability to use resources to develop training programs
- Uses logic and appropriate methods to successfully troubleshoot and solve difficult problems
- Uses effective oral and written communication
- Uses MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc. to communicate all work instructions
