Full-Time Nanny for Three in South Charlotte

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in South Charlotte in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their three young children, including one toddler. The nanny would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 5:30 pm (50 hours). The right candidate will have the flexibility to come in early or stay late on occasion.

The best nanny for this family would be active, calm, patient, and attentive, with strong communication skills and a focus on safety. This role requires experience with multiple children, as well as the ability to stay organized in a busy environment. The nanny will support the family’s daily routine, beginning with helping the children get ready for school in the mornings. While the children are in school, the nanny will be responsible for the child-related tasks listed below. In the afternoons, the nanny will handle school and activity pick-ups. Once the children are home, the nanny should create a fun, engaging, and active environment, encouraging play, creativity, and outdoor activities. The children love spending time outside, coloring, painting, playing together, and imaginative play. Outings to the library, park, and other age-appropriate activities throughout the community are encouraged to keep the children learning and exploring. Above all, the nanny should be safety-focused, a clear communicator, and dedicated to providing a secure, nurturing environment where the children can thrive.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• Picking the children up from school

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep, including breakfast, packing school lunches, and dinner

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

• Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

• Keeping the playroom and common areas tidy

• Emptying the diaper pail

• Grocery shopping for child-related items

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a college degree or equivalent experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• Legal pay is offered at $28-$30 an hour, depending on experience
