The Opportunity
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Function in a technical specialist capacity. Under general supervision, performs all aspects of conventional design engineering and analysis.
- Broaden knowledge and skill set in area of discipline. May start to expand knowledge in other disciplines and/or functional areas.
- Develop Electrical design for water/wastewater projects
- Develop a variety of complex engineering deliverables including one-line diagrams, schematics, power and lighting plans, electrical installation details, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with regional and global design teams
- Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area
- Do project studies – Energy Optimization, Power System Coordination and Arc Flash Hazard Analysis, and Electrical Reliability Analysis
- Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- 3+ years in electrical design, planning and construction services within the Water/Wastewater industry
- Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience
- Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other analysis software
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification, and in pursuit of Professional Engineer (PE) License
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 1-3 years related work experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
