What You'll Actually Do

Your Core Focus (70% of your time):

• Service and repair diesel/gas trucks and commercial mowers
• Handle preventive maintenance across our landscape fleet
• Diagnose small engine equipment (trimmers, blowers, chainsaws)
• Keep equipment documentation organized and current

Shop Leadership Potential (30% of your time):

• Manage workflow to minimize fleet downtime
• Maintain a clean, safe, professional shop
• Coordinate parts inventory and ordering
• Touch up paint, etc. on fleet vehicles for professional appearance

The Fleet You'll Work On:

• Commercial mowers (zero-turn, stand-on, walk-behind)
• Diesel and gas trucks with trailers
• Small engine equipment (2-stroke and 4-stroke)
• Some compact construction equipment (CTLs, excavators)

What Makes You Stand Out

Must-Haves:

• 2+ years hands-on experience with automotive/small equipment
• Strong diesel and gas engine knowledge
• Valid NC Driver's License (clean record)
• Self-motivated, organized, takes pride in quality work
• Pass drug screen and background check

Big Pluses:

• Small engine repair certification
• Automotive/diesel mechanic certifications
• Experience with compact construction equipment
• Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills

Compensation & Benefits Package

Pay: $22-28/hour based on experience and certifications
Schedule: Monday-Friday
