HVAC Technician
Seeking a lead HVAC Service Technicians experienced with commercial facilities for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a top-tier mechanical construction and service provider, in Charlotte, NC

- Payrate for this role is between $40-$50+ per hour (based on experience)
Responsibilities for Lead HVAC Technician:
- Provide service and maintenance to customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base, such as schools, hospitals and manufacturing plants
- Troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems from 20 to 100 tons units for Trane and other brands
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customers.
- Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units, as well as proposed retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing systems.
Qualifications for Lead HVAC Technician:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC service; or equivalent combination of education (Technical School) and experience.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment up to 100 tons.
- Must have proficiency with operating and working handheld computers (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
- EPA Certification required .
