Insurance Support Specialist
:
The Position
The Insurance Support Specialist is responsible for assisting multiple company departments in various daily office activities. Particular emphasis will be placed on supporting Claims, Marketing and Accounting
Claims administration
- Direct insureds calling to file claims to website or to agent. Take the claim when the agent is unable to help.
- Register claim information
- Process claim adjuster orders
- Setup & maintain electronic claim folders
- Input and maintain the claim reserve allocations in Policy ManagementS (PMS)
- Assist Claims Manager in Section 111 Reporting
Accountng administration
- Process internal cashier functionCollecting, aggregating, and reporting of all payments received [back-up to Office Assistant]
Validate payments received [back-up to Supervisor Accounting and Operations]Prepare the daily depositPost payments into the PMS [back-up to Office Assistant]Perform cash handling duties for the company's subsidiaries [back-up to Office Assistant]Create Certificate of Mailing listProcess phone payments from insureds
- Account Payable ProcessingData entry, account coding, attaching supporting supporting documentation, and distribution
- General Duties
- Processing policy renewals and print processing(Third Party Vendor)
- Assist in maintaining the PMS (contacts, Mortgagee, etc.)
- Complete PMS daily processing functions
- Other Duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
