Job Summary Cloninger Ford of Hickory is actively hiring an Automotive Service Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused setting. In this role, you'll serve as the key communication link between our customers and the service team. Your job will involve identifying service needs, providing accurate recommendations, and ensuring every customer leaves with a top-notch experience. Job Type & Schedule * Employment Type: Full-time * Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays as needed Work Requirements: * Must be able to reliably commute to Hickory, NC * On-site role only Primary Responsibilities * Welcome service customers and gather vehicle details to understand concerns * Clearly outline recommended repairs or maintenance needs * Generate repair orders and provide transparent estimates * Coordinate with technicians to ensure efficient service delivery * Keep customers informed throughout the repair process * Set appointments and manage service department flow * Process warranty claims and service contract paperwork accurately * Adhere to dealership policies and OEM service standards Preferred Qualifications * Minimum 2 year of experience in a Service Advisor or similar automotive customer service role * High school diploma or equivalent required * Strong people skills, with a focus on communication and sales * Comfortable multitasking in a busy service environment * General understanding of automotive systems and terminology * Familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds DMS * Valid driver’s license and clean driving history Why Cloninger Ford of Hickory?
