Job Title: Live Answer Representative

Location: Charlotte, NC

Compensation: $19 – $22.30 / hour

About the Opportunity:

Addison Group is seeking Live Answer Representatives for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing healthcare organization. This role is ideal for candidates with strong customer service skills and experience in high-volume scheduling environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle high-volume inbound calls (6000 – 7000 calls per week across the team)
• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Process prescription refill requests
• Manage specialty queues for appointment and results inquiries
• Assist new patients and coordinate language line for non-English speakers
• Document all interactions in real time
• Collaborate with clinical team for escalated questions

Qualifications:

• Experience with Athena EMR strongly preferred
• Prior scheduling experience in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of clinical workflows and ability to differentiate specialty vs. primary care appointments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in multiple systems simultaneously
• Tech-savvy and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
