Job Title – Quality Specialist

Location – 6540 Franz Warner Pkwy, Whitsett, NC 27377

Contract – 12 months contract (possibility to go perm)

Pay Range – $32 USD hourly on W2

Shift: 1 st Shift, 6:30am to 3:00pm

Job Description:

Description and Requirements:

• Responsible ensuring quality audit team is focused on the visual dimensional inspection and functional tests of materials received from suppliers, in accordance with pre-established norms and procedures, to comply with quality standards.
• Also responds by conducting process audits.
• Location: Whitsett, United States.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure Quality personal is focused on the right process, material, collecting necessary data, and providing production real time feedback.
• Closely work with the Engineering team to define processes and procedures.
• Provide feedback to production and management about quality issues and suggesting process improvements.
• Conduct audits of materials and finished products in accordance with quality procedures.
• Perform Quality Audit on the Lines to support and guarantee the process.
• Conduct a compliance audit on the production process and perform visual and physical inspection checking products for visible issues (scratches, incorrect assembly).
• Operate equipment and perform measurement and testing using tools to verify compliance with specifications
• Also run functional tests on electronic or mechanical components.
• Analyzing technical drawings and specifications to ensure the product is built correctly.
• Assist in the separation of non-conforming materials.
• Continue looking for process improvement, working with manufacturing teams to prevent defects.
• Perform data entry in specific spreadsheets regarding inspections carried out.
• Collaborate for the maintenance of quality programs and continuous improvement.
• Use and apply quality tools for root cause analysis.
• Comply with Quality, Environment, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Systems.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or technical certification.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electronics or manufacturing is a plus.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years relevant experience.
• Experience in electronics or server hardware assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with ESD-safe handling procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook experience required.
• Ability to lift and handle components safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic ability to read and interpret inspection standards and procedures.
• Intermediate technical capacity to define and apply acceptability criteria to products.
• Advanced knowledge of the Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Advanced knowledge and certification in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow or Greenbelt).
• Basic Audit experience.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures.
• Advanced application of quality tools for root cause analysis (e.g., Ishikawa/Fishbone diagram, PDCA, FMEA, 8D).
