1st shift Lumpers
shift (6:00am/2:30pm) project 2 weeks, may be extended based on performance)
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading & Loading: Manually unloading/loading trucks, containers, and trailers, often lifting 30–75+ lbs continuously.
- Palletizing & Sorting: Organizing freight, breaking down mixed pallets, and stacking products according to weight and type.
- Safety & Maintenance: Adhering to OSHA safety guidelines, maintaining a clean, organized loading dock, and operating equipment like pallet jacks.
- Damaged Goods Handling: Identifying, reporting, and separating damaged products.
- Shrink Wrapping: Securing palletized loads with shrink wrap for safe transport.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift heavy items for 8–12 hour shifts.
- Experience: Previous warehouse, logistics, or loading experience is highly preferred.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and ability to follow verbal and written instructions
