About the POSITION:

• CRNA needed
• This position works closely with the Surgery and Mother-Baby Unit Department staff ensuring the provision of high quality, safe patient care
• This is a full-time position, variable days/shifts

As a CRNA, you will

• Assesses patients medical histories to predict anesthesia response.
• Develops anesthesia care plans.
• Obtains informed consent from patients for anesthesia procedures.
• Selects and prepares equipment monitors, supplies, drugs, fluids and/or blood products for the administration of anesthetics.
• Monitors patients responses and manages patients airways.
• Responds to emergency situations by providing airway management, administering emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques.
• Performs or manages regional anesthetic techniques such as local, spinal, and epidural.
• Participates in on-going continuing medical education efforts and the implementation of process improvement.
• Cooperates with surgeons and staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participates in meetings and involvement in policy formation.

Which Qualifications Do You Need?

• Current Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure in the Anesthetist category.
• Successful completion of a master s level accredited school of nurse anesthesia.
• Current certification as CRNA through the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists (CCNA)
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a CRNA in a hospital setting.
• This position typically requires 1st and 2nd call. Call response time is consistent with ACOG standards.
• Current Certification in ACLS, PALS and NRP.
• HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire
