Join a dynamic team specializing in shredding and recycling paper products. This role involves handling damaged goods, excess inventory, and improperly produced paper materials to ensure they are efficiently processed and sent back to paper mills for reuse.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts safely to move materials to staging areas.
• Demonstrate proficient operation of the forklift with various attachments.
• Load and unload materials while maintaining high safety standards.
• Work both on and off the forklift as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods of time.
• Handle materials in a fast-paced environment.

• 2+ years of sit-down forklift experience.
• Strong safety orientation.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts with different attachments.
• Experience in shipping and receiving, order picking, and material handling.

• Experience in a recycling environment.

Work Environment

Work in a paper recycling warehouse with a focus on safety and efficiency. The job includes operating forklifts and handling materials in a fast-paced environment across different shifts: 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm and 2nd shift from 3:30pm-12am, Monday to Friday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of High Point, NC.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in High Point,NC.
