Maintenance Technician III

Role Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures
Lead small maintenance projects or guide junior techs
Maintain accurate maintenance records
Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED
2+ years of maintenance experience in industrial, commercial, or facility environments
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
The ability to stand for extended periods of time along with routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 50 pounds. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and squat
Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 certification
Trade license (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing – depending on jurisdiction)
Completion of technical school or apprenticeship
Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Understanding of PLC basics and motor controls
Forklift, scissor lift, or aerial work platform certification
Lockout/Tagout trained
Physically capable of working in a fast-paced, stop-and-go manufacturing environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
Alert, dependable, and safety-focused
Previous experience in manufacturing material handling or similar industrial environments
Knowledge of parts and materials required for production operations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational skills and ability to make quick decisions in support of a process-oriented operation

Pay Range
The hourly rate for this position is between $24 - $48 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
