About the Role:
Join K9 Resorts of Apex as a Pet Care Technician, where you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to providing exceptional care for pets in Apex, NC. Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality pet care services, including feeding, walking, and grooming.
- Monitor pet behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets in our care.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to ensure satisfaction and address any questions.
- Administer medications and follow specific care instructions as needed.
- Assist in training and socializing pets to enhance their well-being.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving services.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to ensure a positive experience for pets and clients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in pet care, veterinary, or animal handling preferred.
- Strong passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of pet health and behavior is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of handling pets of various sizes.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license required.
- Certification in pet first aid or CPR is a bonus.
