As a Security Professional Armed Bank Patrol - Part-Time in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a financial institution location. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond promptly to incidents, and support the overall security-related operations of the site. This is an armed post, requiring you to carry and manage a firearm responsibly while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter potential threats and/or suspicious activities.
• Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the financial institution location.
• Collaborate with team members and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Follow all procedures for armed posts, including maintaining proper documentation and adhering to protocols regarding the handling and storage of firearms.
• Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the financial institution as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
