Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Lexington, NC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification of clinical competence (CCC) and school-based SLP credentials for a contract position lasting the full school year.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students with communication disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs and communicate goals with educators and families.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to support student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification.
- SLP-School certification or eligibility.
- Experience working with K-12 students is preferred.
- Knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy and school regulations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
