The client is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic stopgap, owning product positioning, go-to-market execution, and competitive intelligence for a B2B SaaS platform serving commercial trades businesses. Job Summary
Own product messaging and positioning, ensuring differentiated and persona-aligned narratives across key buyer and user segments.
Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product and feature launches, including AI-powered capabilities, from brief through cross-functional alignment.
Develop high-impact GTM content such as pitch decks, one-pagers, datasheets, demo narratives, and competitive battlecards.
Maintain and synthesize competitive intelligence, tracking market dynamics and translating insights into actionable guidance for Sales and Product teams.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure consistent product storytelling and drive customer adoption.
Support Sales enablement with talk tracks, objection handling, and persona-aligned messaging that improve win rates.
Experiment with AI-enabled workflows to improve PMM efficiency, content creation, and GTM processes. Minimum Requirements:
7 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, or equivalent strategic marketing role.
Proven success developing product messaging, positioning, and value propositions.
Experience with competitive intelligence, market analysis, and building competitive tools such as battlecards and competitor briefs.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage cross-functional alignment plans.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenter and storyteller with an analytical, data-informed mindset. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in commercial contracting, field service management, or software used by service technicians or operational teams.
Familiarity with how field-service or commercial contracting businesses operate, purchase technology, or define user value.
Demonstrated curiosity about AI and experience applying AI tools to improve product marketing workflows or customer experience.
