Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

We are hiring a Warehouse Associate for a 12-month contract in Morrisville, NC (27560) , paying $16.78/hr with the potential for temp-to-perm placement . This role involves physically demanding warehouse work , including lifting boxes up to 100 lbs , operating pallet jacks and hand carts, and using handheld scanners to process and track inventory. Ideal candidates will be safety-conscious , have strong attention to detail , and be comfortable with manual labor and repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ability to read and write in English and operate material handling tools is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lift, carry, push, and pull boxes weighing up to 100 lbs for extended periods.
• Walk, stand, kneel, stoop, squat, and bend frequently throughout the shift.
• Navigate stairs, inclines, and changes in elevation while transporting inventory.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets on the ground or carts, and manually load boxes onto trucks.
• Use handheld scanners and proprietary systems to track and process orders.
• Operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse material handling equipment.
• Maintain warehouse organization and ensure safe working conditions.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse or similar physical labor experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write in English clearly and accurately.
• Must able to work from 08:00:AM - 06:00:PM.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive movements and heavy lifting.
• Experience using handheld scanners and basic warehouse technology.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to use general tools and equipment safely.
• Dependable, safety-oriented, and able to adapt to changing priorities or shifts.
