Position Overview

We are seeking a VP of Finance / Head of FP&A to build and own Keebler Health’s financial function from the ground up.

This is a hybrid leadership role that combines strategic finance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and operational finance execution. You will be responsible for translating company strategy into financial plans, building forecasting models, managing cash and burn, and ensuring the company operates with financial rigor as we scale.

In the near term, this is a hands-on operator role, you will build the models, run the forecasts, and own the numbers. Over time, you will evolve this into a broader finance function.

Your work will directly shape Keebler Health’s ability to raise capital, allocate resources effectively, and scale sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Partner with the CEO and COO on company-wide financial planning, including annual budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts
• Translate company strategy into clear financial models, scenarios, and trade-offs
• Partner with leadership to evaluate strategic decisions, including pricing, hiring, and market expansion

FP&A & Forecasting

• Build and maintain robust financial models covering revenue, costs, burn, and runway
• Develop scenario analyses to support decision-making under uncertainty
• Establish forecasting discipline across the business, with clear assumptions and accountability

Cash Management & Capital Efficiency

• Own cash flow management, burn tracking, and runway planning
• Provide clear visibility into financial health and key risks
• Support capital allocation decisions to ensure efficient use of resources

Fundraising Support

• Partner with the CEO on fundraising strategy, investor materials, and financial narratives
• Build investor-ready financial models and projections
• Support due diligence processes with clear, defensible financials

Operational Finance

• Oversee core finance operations, including budgeting, expense management, and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
• Implement scalable processes and systems to support growth

Cross-Functional Partnership

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Operations to align financial plans with execution
• Provide financial insight into key initiatives, including product development and go-to-market strategy
• Act as a thought partner to leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities

Build & Scale the Finance Function

• Define the future structure of finance at Keebler Health
• Hire and lead finance team members as the company scales
• Establish best practices, controls, and financial discipline across the organization

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in FP&A, finance, investment banking, private equity, or high-growth startups
• Strong experience building financial models from scratch in ambiguous environments
• Proven ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in early-stage or scaling companies
• Deep understanding of SaaS or healthcare technology business models (ideally both)
• Experience supporting fundraising processes and investor conversations
• Strong analytical rigor with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insights
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• High ownership mindset — takes responsibility for outcomes, not just outputs
• Extraordinary sense of humor

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in value-based care, healthcare services, or healthcare data businesses
• Prior experience as a Head of FP&A, VP Finance, or similar role in a startup
• Experience building finance functions from zero to scale
• Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement models, risk-based contracts, or population health economics
• Thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative without needing direction
• Comfortable switching between strategic thinking and detailed execution
• Highly accountable, with a bias toward action and outcomes
