The Opportunity
Within Aeroflow Fullment Centers are the core of Aeroflows order fulfillment function. As Aeroflow continues to grow and invest in its ability to deliver a world-class customer experience its investment in distribution/warehouse function is growing as well.
- Aeroflow Fulfillment Centers (AFC) take great pride in being a critical part of delivering an exceptional customer experience and currently fulfills over 300000 medical supply orders per month from its primary Asheville warehouse.
- Aeroflow is in the early stages of a long-term project to modernize its supply chain operations steadily adding new technology automation and additional fulfillment centers.
- Aeroflows growth and investment in its supply chain functions will require a Production Manager applying their skills in three key areas1) Operations Management 2) People Management and 3) Continuous Improvement through a sustained period of positive change for AFC.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Fulfillment Operations Manager who will be responsible for:
Operations Management
- Develop strategies to optimize warehouse layout storage and movement of inventory.
- Identify and implement improvements to streamline processes reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure a safe working environment for employees and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels track stock and ensuring timely replenishment of Work in Process (WIP).
- Track site level performance metrics compile reports and communicate findings to key stakeholders.
People Management
- Enhance collaboration between teams and ensure bi-directional communication between Production and Inventory teams.
- Mentor team members at all stages in their careers and take pride in their success accomplishments and professional development.
- Attract develop and retain high caliber talent.
- Clearly communicate and collaborate with company leadership stakeholders vendors and strategic partners.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset and have a passion for continual learning development and personal growth.
- Demonstrate strength leading through a sustained period of positive change.
Continuous Improvement
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to identify root causes of issues and develop solutions
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects ensuring timely completion and measurable results.
- Mentor coach and develop team members in continuous improvement principles and methodologies.
- Support the implementation of changes ensuring successful adoption by all stakeholders.
- Collect analyze and interpret operational data to identify trends measure the impact of improvements and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Communicate project progress challenges and results to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Provide training on continuous improvement methodologies tools and SOPs to team members.
- Proactive attitude with strong analytical and project management skills.
- A broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain and operations processes.
- Strong verbal/written communication skills in an environment of multiple internal teams plus external vendors.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software tools methodologies and best practices.
- Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting change management efforts involving multiple stakeholders.
- Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws regulations and policies.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance
- Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
- Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
- Other job duties assigned
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience with a focus on supply chain management operations or distribution with strong references.
- A proven ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within challenging timeframes and ongoing change.
- Proven experience in talent management with an emphasis on training and coaching front line supervisors.
- Confident and effective communication skills with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff.
- Ability to deliver effective feedback both written and verbal.
- Ability to live/relocate near Asheville NC.
