Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support elementary school students in a dynamic learning environment. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering academic growth for students with diverse learning needs. The position is a contract role for the current school year in Salisbury, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to create inclusive classroom experiences.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student engagement and achievement.
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional plans as necessary.
• Provide a supportive and positive classroom setting that encourages social and emotional development.

• Valid state certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
