Your New Role

As a Plumbing Estimator at Odyssey Mechanical, LLC, you’ll be the go-to expert for creating accurate, competitive, and detailed estimates for commercial and residential plumbing projects. Based in Wilmington, NC, your responsibilities include:

• Reviewing blueprints, specifications, and technical documents to develop accurate estimates

• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to define project scope and costs

• Sourcing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing

• Preparing detailed bid proposals and project budgets

• Tracking project costs and aligning estimates with actuals

• Identifying cost efficiencies without compromising quality

• Staying updated on the latest plumbing materials, technologies, and industry codes

• Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in plumbing estimation

• Preferred: HVAC estimating experience is a plus

• Technical Skills: Proficient in estimation software (e.g., Accubid, Esticom) and MS Office Suite

• Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical codes and standards

• Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

• Detail-Oriented: Exceptional accuracy in developing estimates

• Valid Driver’s License: Required for local travel to project sites
