Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and service-oriented Senior Sales Associate to join our team! As a Senior Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include working the POS, maintaining the store’s appearance, and achieving sales goals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service, computer skills, as well as excellent communication skills. Prior jewelry experience is helpful. Responsibilities
- Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Work at a register to ring up and carry out customer sales.
- Collect payments by cash and credit card.
- Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store maintenance.
- Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
- Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
- Previous experience as a sales associate, sales rep, or similar
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
- Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
- Willingness to work well in a team environment
- Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule
- Punctuality a must
