Position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, eligibility to begin the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision, and eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) pleting their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in a K-12 school setting located in Matthews, NC. This role offers valuable experience working with school-aged children across diverse grade levels, providing essential speech and language support to help students succeed academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
- SLP licensed or eligible, currently pleting a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or interest in pediatric speech and language therapy within a school environment
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Strong munication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and students
- mitment to supporting diverse learners and promoting inclusive practices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for students K-12
- Develop and deliver evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Monitor student progress and document outes accurately
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention plans and educational goals in pliance with state and federal guidelines
