As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Route in Morrisville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter potential security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities as required.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff while representing Allied Universal on site.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
• Assist with access control and visitor management procedures relevant to a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Remain alert to changes in the environment and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
