Box Truck Non-CDL Driver

Are you a reliable driver who actually enjoys being out in the community rather than stuck behind a desk? We are looking for a Box Truck Driver to join our Charlotte team. This isn't just a "steering wheel" job—you are the face of our company. You’ll be responsible for navigating the QC safely, unloading deliveries with care, and providing great service to our customers at every stop.

salary: $20 - $25 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Drive & Navigate: Safely operate a 16ft–26ft box truck throughout the Charlotte metro area.

• Heavy Lifting: Load and unload freight; you should be comfortable being on your feet and lifting up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Customer Service: Act as our primary point of contact, ensuring every customer has a professional and positive delivery experience.
• Accuracy: Manage delivery paperwork and use mobile scanning apps to ensure inventory is tracked perfectly.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: At least 1–2 years of experience driving box trucks or similar large vehicles.

• Clean Record: A valid driver’s license and a solid driving history

• Communication: strong verbal skills—you’re comfortable talking to everyone from warehouse managers to residential customers.
• Reliability: You show up on time and take pride in getting the job done right the first time.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• DOT Compliance (1 year of experience is preferred)
• Box Truck Driving (2 years of experience is preferred)
• Loading Unloading (1 year of experience is preferred)
