Aerotek Hiring Mig Welder In Wilmington, DE

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our manufacturing team, specializing in cosmetic-quality welding on production components. While this role is not focused on heavy structural welding, all welds must still meet sound structural integrity standards, with cosmetic appearance being the primary focus. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing clean, uniform, visually appealing welds with excellent consistency.

Pay: Weekly pay up to $25/hour! (Flexible depending on skill level)

Shift: Day shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components with emphasis on clean, aesthetically pleasing welds.
• Produce welds that are structurally sound while meeting strict appearance standards.
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment for precision welding and optimal bead appearance.
• Interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and production documentation.
• Prepare, grind, blend, and finish parts for a high-quality final appearance.
• Inspect welds for both structural quality and cosmetic defects (spatter, porosity, undercut, bead uniformity).
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet schedule and product expectations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Essential skills:

• 3-5+ years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds that are both structurally sound and cosmetically clean.
• Experience working with thin or moderate gauge steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
