Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Hope Mills, NC. This position is offered as a contract role for the full school year (NSY), providing valuable assistance in delivering speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized speech therapy plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Monitor student progress and document therapy outcomes.
• Prepare materials and set up equipment needed for therapy sessions.
• Support the Speech-Language Pathologist during assessments and therapy sessions.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and team members to support student progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA license or certification.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Knowledge of speech and language disabilities and intervention techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
