Distribution Associate

Roles & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and sort returned products based on condition and guidelines
• Identify damage, defects, expiration, or discrepancies on returned goods
• Document return reason codes, product details, and disposition outcomes accurately
• Process returns using RF technology and warehouse management systems
• Repackage, re-label, and prepare items for restocking, quarantine, or scrap
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) for all data entry
• Process customer orders - scan barcodes, pick cases, label boxes
• Palletize completed orders and verify shipment accuracy
• Perform dock manifest duties (scanning pallets, operating shrink wrap equipment) as needed
• Pick product accurately while bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Operate designated material handling equipment (MHE) safely
• Participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation
• Maintain clean, organized work areas following 5S and Lean principles
• Report injuries, hazards, damage, or unsafe conditions immediately
• Cross-train and provide backup support in other roles as needed
• Participate in daily stretching program and complete other assigned duties

Experience Required

• 0 -5 years (1 year of relevant experience preferred; MHE experience a plus)

Skills & Certifications

• Ability to operate MHE and use an RF scanner (pallet jack certification obtainable on the job)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents
• Basic analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work well independently and under minimal supervision
• Comfortable in a metrics-driven work environment

Eligibilities & qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
• 10-panel drug test required - must be completed within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• Background check must be completed before start
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and meet physical demands of a warehouse role (standing, bending, reaching, etc.)
• Normal field of vision corrected to 20/40 in each eye; sufficient hearing to safely operate MHE
